Nieves is an accomplished accountant with more than 25 years of experience in accounting and operations predominantly in the financial services industry where she collaborated with top investment advisory managers, financial institutions, regulators, fund administrators, and advisors in audit, tax, and legal. During this period, Nieves played significant managerial roles in Fund Accounting during the planning and implementation of more than 40 multi-strategy investment funds (primarily hedge funds, alternatives, emerging, and managed accounts) with assets under management that started at just $1 million and grew close to $6 billion.

Prior to establishing Ledger Lanes LLC, Nieves was an Assistant Controller at LibertyView Capital Management, an investment advisory firm that underwent several acquisitions by larger financial institutions - Credit Agricole Indosuez and Neuberger Berman; the latter was acquired by Lehman Brothers. Nieves’ advancement to a more senior role as a Vice President of Operations at Neuberger Berman demonstrated her extensive skills in leadership, integrity, management, synergy, and reliability as she contributed to the company’s rebuilding of its operational infrastructure. Her passion for giving back to the community provided her an opportunity to work as a Consultant at NCheng LLP, a CPA advisory firm that services not-for-profit organizations. Nieves’ solid experience, together with her key strengths in improving efficiencies, internal controls, and cost savings, empowered her to build a start-up company. 

Nieves received her Bachelor of Science degree, Major in Accounting, from St. Paul College, Quezon City, Philippines.
